Welcome to
Grange Road Kindergarten
Kindergarten is about acquiring life skills. It is about fostering a joy of learning, celebrating children’s achievements, socialization and building self-esteem.
At Grange Road Kindergarten, situated in Sandringham in the Bayside community, we pride ourselves on our 3 year old and 4 year old programs.
Grange Road Kindergarten/pre-school provides children with an environment that encourages and stimulates their development, and builds self-confidence and social skills in readiness for school.
Activities are play-based which is central to the lives of all children; it is a natural behaviour through which children learn most effectively. For play to develop, children need adults who respect, value, resource and facilitate their play.
If you are looking for a kinder, are a new family to the kinder or have been part of our community for some time, we do hope that you find our website a great resource. If you would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Grange Road Kinder is committed to Child Safety and is a Child Safe Organisation
Grange Road Kindergarten has a zero tolerance to child abuse and racism and is committed to promoting child safety, children’s wellbeing and protecting children from abuse. We aim to create a child safe and child friendly environment where children feel safe and will be supported to express and enjoy their cultural rights. To create and maintain a child safe environment, Grange Road Kindergarten apply Child Safe Standards and adhere to the Reportable Conduct Scheme (RCS).
Grange Road Kindergarten proudly acknowledges the Boon Wurrung People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land we learn and play on, and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
Our Four year old groups are learning Auslan at Grange Road Kindergarten with educator Catherine Berry, thanks to funding received from the Early Childhood Languages Program, Department of Education.
